TO HOST A SWAP:

1. Decide your "Theme" (ie - Friendship, Thinking of You, etc...)
2. What will your swap be - a card, magnet, bookmark, craft or a combination of items.
3. Mail Date - allow at least one month from the date you call for a swap.
4. Allow only 6-8 in a group, groups larger than this can be to much.
5. If you get a lot of Friends respond to your swap, you can split them into groups (ie - like Fall I & II)
6. Have everyone send their personal info to your PRIVATE mailbox, once you receive enough players post to the mail list that the swap is closed - then you can cut and paste your names and addresses to create a master list to send to everyone who signed up.

TO PARTICIPATE IN A SWAP:

1. Stay within the "theme" of the swap - you can use your graphics from any program (CAC preferred!!)
2. Make the exact same card for everyone in your group.
3. Include a little note with the details of your project - (or put on the back of the card)
What program you used
Where you got your graphics, name of font
Type of card stock
Describe your embellishments, etc.
4. On the back of your card put the name of the swap, the date and your email. Example:
Christmas in October Swap
October 98
sviro@usa.net
5. If you cannot mail your swaps on time, let the players in your group know.
6. Don't forget your thank you's! :o)

Remember, everyone participating in the swaps is in a different phase of learning. This is the best way to learn new techniques and see how other Friends create using Creatacard. If you need to drop out of a swap let the hostess know ASAP. Life is so complicated, and things come up - so don't feel bad if your cards are late or you cannot participate how you expected too.
