Mommy Money Color Cover

Does any of you have a son? What would you do if your son asked you for a fish? Would any father give his son a snake? No! You would give him a fish. Luke 11:11

I designed this "funny money" project to put in my son's stockings last Christmas. I Mommy Buck free dessertassigned different "values" the the Mommy money, 1 free chore, 1 dessert of your choice, 1 meal of your choice, 1 school paper typed, 1 get of of trouble free (those ended up getting ME in trouble!) etc. You can assign values your children would like and match their age/interests. This was designed with a Christmas theme cover, but these can be used for any time of the year and also as different incentives. I did put a note at the bottom of some of Screenshot of formattingthem REQUIRES 24 HR NOTICE so the kids wouldn't spring a chore on me and NON-TRANSFERABLE so the kids would not start swapping the coupons, or in our case, sell them to each other!! The download has the color cover and four sample Mommy Money Bucks - 1 free chore, 1 meal of choice, 1 dessert of choice and 1 get out of trouble free. Depending on how many of each coupon you want to print out, copy and paste each coupon on it's own poster format. I printed Print on colored paperfour of each coupon on one sheet as seen on the left example. You can substitute your own picture in the center like I did, or use the one in the download. I then printed each Mommy buck on different color paper, so they end up looking just like Monopoly money! I used a regular weight pastel colored inkjet paper I bought at Sam's Club in bulk, it was very inexpensive. To make the coupons easy to rip out you can use a perforator (this is optional) on the left side as seen below, leaving a left edge of about 1/25" to staple the book together. Cut the money out and stack. Print the cover on card stock, along with a blank piece the same size for the back of the coupon book. Staple together!! It's so easy - and the kids will love it!

Remember to customize the bucks with your name on the signature line and your child's name on the color cover.

Perforate the left edge
