Little Mermaid

My daughter wanted
a Little Mermaid theme Birthday party. With a little
help from DISNEY.COM my wife was able to whip up a Little Mermaid
birthday
invitation using CAC2 that everyone loved because of the personalization.
I, on the other hand have to do things in a B-I-G way! First,
I scanned
both a Little Mermaid picture from a Disney book (scaled up to
~8 inches
from a ~2 inch original) and a portrait of my daughter (in just
the right
pose). I used Adobe PhotoShop to place my daughter's face over
Ariel's
with some hair and background touchup. Next, I imported this image
into
Sierra PrintArtist, added text and sea creature clip art, . Now,
like I
said, I do things in a B-I-G way. Using PrintArtist to Scale UP
the final
printout 300%, and using three sets of banner paper (3 sheets
each), I
created a birthday poster (33 inches wide by 25 1/2 inches high)
that
EVERYONE loved! It amazed everyone! (We don't have the heart to
throw it
away.)
